Backwoods by Cara McKenna

This book was very sexy. I loved Shane's dark, powerful personality. Gabriel had a sweetness about him that was a beautiful contrast to Shane's hard strength. Watching them learn each other and build on their intense feelings was sexy as hell. We're there cringeworthy moments? Absolutely. But overall, the characters seemed likeable. They made you want to learn their back stories and what drove them. The ending also set you up very nicely for the sequel, Shivaree.
